DrySteam.Store Warranty
RETURN POLICY
Goods must be returned to the manufacturer within ten days from the delivery date to the shipping address indicated on our return form.
Before returning merchandise, the customer must complete and submit a Return Merchandise Authorization Request Form and receive an RMA number. Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted by the DrySteam.store.
Return is subject to a 25% restocking fee plus; we do not accept used accessories with any return; they are yours—applicable charges for labour and supplies to repair damages, if any.
All returned goods must be insured and in the original packing conditions.
The sender agrees to pay to insure items for replacement costs and shipping costs and keeps used attachments. Customers outside Canada are subject to border processing fees.
Applicable charges will be deducted from the original payment amount. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of return.
WARRANTY
Manufacturers 3 years limited warranty
The manufacturer hereby warrants that new steam cleaners purchased from the manufacturer will be free from factory defects in material and workmanship for the period stated below, subject to certain limitations.
WARRANTY POLICY
The first year of the warranty covers shipping, parts, and labour. The second and third year of the warranty covers parts, not labour or shipping. This warranty does not cover any consequential damages or business loss. This warranty is NOT transferable.
WARRANTY PERIOD
The limited warranty on your steam cleaner is three (3) years from the date of purchase by the original owner against defects in material and workmanship. The warranty on the boiler is valid as long as the original owner claims it.
GENERAL EXCLUSIONS
General exclusions from this warranty shall include any failures caused by:
a. scale from hard water with high mineral content and/or damage from water with high chlorine content
b. Installation of parts, accessories or attachments or that are not original to the unit or genuine manufacturer parts.
c. Accident or collision damage.
d. Lack of proper maintenance.
e. Abnormal strain, neglect, or abuse.
f. Changing or altering factory settings without consulting with an authorized technician.
g. Damage or malfunctions resulting from natural calamity, freezing, theft, Accident, vandalism, abuse due to misapplication and/or improper site conditions.
h. Water damage
i. Electrical damage from including, but not limited to, improper use of extension cords, failure to meet proper voltage requirements, incorrect or insufficient amperage circuit
j. Insufficient unobstructed distance on exhaust
k. the owner or user neglected to do routine maintenance required, and the damages or problems are directly related to such neglect. It is the Client’s responsibility to keep equipment in proper condition and to use the manufacturer’s cleaning products exclusively not to damage the internal components;
SPECIFIC EXCLUSIONS
Items not covered under warranty include:
a. Parts replaced due to normal wear or routine maintenance, including but not limited to sensors, filters, fuses, valves, pipes, electrodes, cables and fittings (e.g. nipples, couplings, o-rings, etc.).
b. Steam hoses, guns nozzles and other accessories.
c. Any transportation or travel costs.
d. Reimbursement for rental units while repairing warranty items.
e. Normal maintenance items such as: draining tanks and boiler, descaling, cleaning or replacing sensors, replacing filters and fuses, soot removal, tightening and sealing bolts and fittings and others are stated in the user manual.
f. Failure caused by water scale problems due to local water conditions.
g. Warranty work completed after 30 days from discovery.
h. Claims made under fraudulent situations.
i. This warranty does not cover machines used for rental purposes.
CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY
Under this warranty, the customer’s responsibility shall:
a. Operate and maintain the machine as specified in the instructions manual;
b. Give notice to drysteam.store of apparent defects within ten (10) days after initial malfunction;
c. Provide proof of purchase, purchase date, and serial number of the warranty item(s);
Some states do not allow limitations or warranty exclusions, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
FORCE MAJEURE
For all purposes hereof, force majeure includes any act of God, war, mobilization, governmental regulation, strike, lockout, drought, flood, a total or partial fire, obstruction of navigation, loss, damage or detention in transit, defective materials or delays by shippers, or other contingencies or causes beyond Seller’s control which might prevent the manufacturer, shipment or delivery of Goods covered at this moment. Performance of Seller’s obligations may be suspended pending force majeure, without Seller being responsible to Client for any damages or losses resulting from such suspension.
